Located in a growth corridor to Melbourne’s west, the City of Melton City Council provides vital government and community services to a widely dispersed and growing population across 38 council locations.
The context
Melton City Council needed a trusted technology partner who could support their current technologies and enable future strategy and growth in support of the community.
Their goal
To establish a clear understanding of their current ICT posture, gather future requirements for services across multiple service towers – including mobile, fixed data and voice, unified communications and contact centre, managed services, and security operations – and contract new services setting the foundation for future strategy and growth.
Our approach
We undertook a current state and risk assessment of the technology environment, gathered and documented future requirements for the various service towers, assisted in the development and documentation of future account and service models, and developed a technology partner RFP with structured evaluation and assessment criteria.
