To the ever-expanding category entitled Stuff We Used To Get For Free, we can now add the National Do-Not-Call Register.
That's right, you will now have to pay to use the service, which was intended to block annoying telemarketing calls, unless those calls happened to be from political parties, charities, religious organisations or anyone who didn't feel like complying.
Personally, I'd be happy to pay if it included political parties and religious organisations. I'd pay a premium for that.
